The following are just some more of the wealth of features available in The Sportsbook:

bullet

Trainer / Jockey / Sire Analysis
The Trainer and Jockey screens are similar.  When you click on a Trainer or Jockey name a screen comes up showing their last 15 outings (all previous ones can be viewed via a More button).  From there you can check how they have performed in past seasons, in different race types and at varying courses.  There is plenty of other analysis throughout the program.  The Sire Form shows stacks of sire analysis via race types, going and courses.

Trainers & Combinations
Available from the Ratings Screen (where Trainer & Jockey will have already been entered for you when you select a arce to rate), this shows the past performance of Trainers & Trainer/Jockey combinations over various time periods, race types and courses including win ratio and profit/loss.

bullet

Race Form
Allows you to browse through the database race-by-race with extensive filters for race type and number of runners.  A feature called Strong Form is available on the Race Form screen or when you select a race from a horse's past form.  Click on the Strong Form button and you will see a display for the first eight horses, showing runs both before and after that race.  You can now see at a glance the quality of the race before it was run and the subsequent winners/placed horses it has produced.

bullet

Personal Notebook
On a horse selected for viewing, click on the Note button and a window will pop-up in the centre of the screen, allowing you to enter notes of any length.  If you wish to check whether any horses you have made notes for are running today, they will have a red 'N' dislayed at the end of their name in the main ratings screen.

bullet

Race Notes
Similar to the Personal Notebook, these new-style notes allow an unlimited size of comment to be attached to a particular race, Flat or Hunt, simply by clicking on the Notes button in any full race display. These are fully indexed and a red "N" will appear to the left of the race number to signify a race with notes attached.  Ideal for recording your own thoughts about a whole race rather than just an individual horse.

bullet

Past Ratings
A useful feature for analysing The Sportsbook's unbeatable race-ratings.  It displays all race ratings as they were at the time of the selected race.  There are option boxes to filter the type of race and number of runners. Also displays the 1 - 10 finishing order with the first three home in red.  The SP box that normally displays our forecast SP now displays the actual SP.  As with the ratings, the form lines and analysis are all exactly as they would have appeared at the time of the selected race.

bullet

Race Finder
Available from the Main Menu.  The race finder allows you to skip through the database of races to track down any desired events.  You can select individual years to search and even search via the name of a particular race.

bullet

Horses-to-Follow
Accessed from the main menu, you can enter any amount of your own horses-to-follow plus.  It is then easy to check those against that day’s runners.  All of your horses-to-follow running that day will then be listed.

bullet

Manual Entry
Although we provide race cards electronically every day, races can be entered manually where you deem it appropriate (ante-post or foreign races for example).  At this screen the horse and weights can be entered - the horse-box is fully indexed.  You can now rate and analyse all your entered races in the same way as you would with our race cards.

bullet

Declarations Page
Available from the Declarations button on the Main Menu.  Shows you all declared runners and where they are engaged in alphabetical order.  Also displays all of a jockey's rides and all of a trainer's runners in alphabetical order, showing where they are engaged.

bullet

SP Mask
SP On/Off Switch button activated from the Main Menu.  Allows users to hide forecast SP's from view for those who don't wish their form study to be influenced by the prices displayed.

bullet

Going Change
Sometimes a change in weather conditions forces a change in going from our previous day declarations.  To change the going, simply access this screen, select the meeting in question and update via the Change Going button.  You can also recompile the Evening Preview so that the statistics are relevant to the changed going.
